Craft los angeles 10100 constellation boulevard

So, thumbs up to Craft. I really do anticipate going back there again. Craft was recommended to us by a regular visitor. After reading the review from Feb 11, we almost didn't go. We are glad we did. The room is lovely, the service was very good, and the food was delicious. The braised short ribs were the best I've had anywhere and the chocolate souffle was heavenly. We were surprised to receive carrot muffins to take home with us. We enjoyed them for breakfast the next morning--delicious.

We went for a special occasion and I was most impressed with the service. We had several courses and did not feel rushed through them. The sides were a good portion, but do not order the bok choy, too gingery! I was not crazy about the pricing of the steaks; to get a filet cut you have to order the extra large steak for two. For dessert we got the red velvet cake and it was small, floury, and dry.

The benefit of dessert, however, was the dessert amuse bouche and petit fors. Plus as a souvenier everyone got packaged cinnabuns to go. I would not return to have steak but the other dishes were good. I've been to Craft probably thre or four times and each time it has been exceptional--the type of cuisine where everyone gets quiet at the table when the food arrives because they are hunkered down over deliciousness.

The braised short ribs are one of my favorites. This says a lot because I am not much of a shortribs person. Never seen or tasted anything like it. Honestly, everything is good. I recommend just closing your eyes and pointing. And don't forget dessert! Maple bacon icecream--who knew? And fresh donuts--YUMS! And their selection of sorbets and gelatos--oh my gosh! On to the WINE! Beautiful very well crafted wine list.

The Wine Director has done a fantastic job creating a list that carries the classics, yet totally pushes the envelope. What's really great is their wines by the glass offer the standard five all exceptional but also some varietals that aren't typically offered by the glass in many restaurants.

If you need assistance choosing, he is very warm, and helpful--not snooty patooty. He'll turn you on to things you never even cconsidered.

It's fantastic! I'm glad Craft has found a home here in Los Angeles. I saw a few bad reviews regarding service of this restaurant. I would say I am happy to have experienced the opposite.

I've lived in this town since ""93"" and have had my share of overhyped culinary experiences locally.. I am happy to say that the service was good too. The menu here is at least interesting and the everything that my wife and I had was prepared perfectly. Try many things. Cant say I liked the corporate atmosphere that much but had a great experience overall.

If you are in a bad relationship but don't want to be the one to end it, simply take your significant other to Craft and I guarantee by the end of the night you'll receive your walking papers. I enjoyed Craft from the time I entered the establishment till my party of three was seated at We were seated well before the Sunday night dinner rush. I ordered the 20 oz NY strip steak medium rare and 20 minutes later was presented with beef carpaccio.

The steak was literally pink through and through. I informed the server and she said the steak would be re-fired to medium rare but 10 minutes later my horribly undercooked steak was back looking just as pink.

Finally, I flagged down a manager and explained the situation. The expressionless manager said ""sorry, let me take care of that for you"" and took my plate. Make a left and walk feet to Craft.

Note: Constellation is closed beyond this point but self-parking entrance and exit remains available, however also note that the Constellation entrance is not accessible from Century Park East. If heading west on Olympic use the right lane and after Century Park East turn right up the ramp to parking. If coming east, use Pico Blvd. From Pico head east and take Century Park East north and make a left on Olympic and immediately make a right up the ramp to parking.

When we got there, we were seated rudely. I called days in advance to reserve a nice table, but were given a lousy one. The hostess did not accommodate a request for a table change. I didn't want to make a scene so I dropped it. The bread was great, and so was the amuse bouche. We ordered hamachi with melon as an appetizer and it was unremarkable.

It was not a great steak. Not flavorful and far too bloody - not the way we ordered it. We did get a salad that had some very good bacon in it. Everything else was fine but forgettable. Our waiter was arrogant and kept walking away from us mid-sentence, like he didn't feel like wasting his time with us. This especially offended me when desert came.

When we ordered dessert, I reminded the waiter that it was my moms birthday. I didn't expect them to sing, but at least a candle or a happy birthday from the waiter. Instead, we got a dessert plopped down in front of my mom by the busboy. The plate had Happy Birthday written on it with chocolate sauce, but that was it. I have to say that it was depressing and the opposite of festive. It broke my heart a little. I wanted to do something nice for my mom and instead I felt like a criminal for wanting to have a celebration at Craft.

For dessert we ordered a chocolate souffle that was served in a copper pan. The busboy did not warn us that it was very hot and someone burned his finger. The souffle was amazing though. Before the bill came there were petit fours and and we got muffins to take home which were also fabulous. Just spent time in LA for the first time, and of all of the places I visited, this was the best. My sister and I stopped in on Thursday for a drink before going elsewhere for dinner, and we never made it to the other place.

We walked in the door and were immediately greeted by the manager and one of the bar tenders with huge smiles of welcome -- a wonderful experience when you are away from home.

The desserts, a chocolate souffle that made your eyes roll, and a yummy berry crisp, were amazing. The wine that our bartender recommended was perfectly suited to both our foods, and to our individual taste. As good as the food was, however, it was the staff and the excellent service they provided that will make this my first stop when I get back out that way again.

Even the staff that was not serving us were kind! Over all -- bar none -- this is now one of my favorite places in the country for a fun, one-of-a-kind experience. I am not sure what some of the earlier negative reviews are referring to but my guess is that they have really spent time perfecting their ""craft"".

I dined at Craft last Thursday and loved it so much, my boyfriend and I went back on Saturday. We found the food, service, wine and ambiance well worth the five stars I awarded this fine establishment. Our server had no issue with letting us ""taste"" some of the by the glass wines and we ended up finding one that we really loved McCauley Cabernet.

Since the menu can change daily, rely on your server, these people really know their menu. I think my boyfriend said it best: even a novice would enjoy the Seared Foie Gras with pistachio because its prepared so wonderfully. They offer some fantastic egg and pasta dishes and a cheese selection to satisfy every one from the cheddar eater to the Chabichou fan. The food is pricey but not unreasonable and after all, you are getting fresh quality and a great experience.

Most importanlty, yes the owner is a celeb chef, but it is the food that will make you return. Well, let me preface this by saying that I didn't pay for dinner, and have no idea what it cost, but I can guess we spent a fair chunk of change seeing as we ordered four bottles of wine. Let me also say that we went there as a group so were only able to choose the entree - the first course, sides, and desserts were all picked for us by the chef.

So, as far as the food, it was really good. I ordered the short ribs, as did four other in our group, so it came out in a really big cooking pan and we could pick out how much we wanted. The New York steak dry not japanese looked amazing as well - served on a large dish and with plenty of meat. The sides were all very tasty, and just when you think you will explode, desert comes. We had several different plates of deserts: strawberry cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, and a really yummy pepper, yes pepper, ice cream , assorted chocolate treats with honey and peanut butter flavors thrown in and a donut plate!!

The donuts were firm and glazed. Oh, the deserts started with mini root beer floats. So, thumbs up to Craft. I really do anticipate going back there again. Our waiter was friendly and sincerely interested in providing a nice experience and meal. Great value and nice variety on the menu. We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Craft. From start to finish, it was a personalized and memorable experience. We were greeted by everyone with best wishes on our anniversary; we were surprised to see a personalized menu with our names included for the occasion; we were made to feel at home by the entire wait staff.

The food was outstanding, creatively prepared and beautifully presented. A cozy atmosphere with upscale food and wine - the perfect combination! Craft is amazing! It was our anniversary and it could not have been more special! The restaurant printed happy anniversary with our names on the menu! The staff is amazing and so attentive.

The food was incredible and their wine list is wonderful. The ambiance outside is so inviting and the heaters help to make so stay as long as you want.

Jason is the best server and I love sitting in his section and over all top notch service as always. Love this place. Craft is one of the most consistently exceptional dining experiences in Los Angeles. I recommend this restaurant very highly to my friends and visitors to LA. The wine list is fantastic as well! The food was absolutely incredible.

Probably the best I've had yet. I can't wait to go back! Kind service. Great food. We have always enjoined our evenings at Craft and last night was no exception. The food was excellent and presented well and we enjoyed whatever we ordered. There were a few of our old favorites that were not on the menu, but we had no problem finding plenty to order.

We really enjoy the restaurant and last night was no exception. I will say that we are so used to a very bubbling atmosphere, but with so few tables occupied it seemed almost to sedate.

We shall return. Everything about the restaurant is superb. It's beautiful, quiet, the food is delicious and the staff was warm and welcoming. Excellent all around! I usually love this restaurant and last week i had a very good experience there so i was surprised when last night fell a little short.

The bread, which had to be separately ordered and in the past pre-pandemic was always delicious last night tasted stale and was a disappointment. The food was okay but not great. It was perfect. The service was impeccable and sincere. The food was good. And the environment was clean and open-air. My experience was beyond magical! The food was beyond delicious. Excellent as always. Loved our evening at Craft! The food was familiar yet creative.

You could tell that every ingredient was chosen with purpose. The staff was all so incredibly nice and helpful. We enjoyed our table on the patio by the heaters overlooking the park.

Perfect spot for a date night. Terrific Restaurant on all levels
