La scala philadelphia pa

The 2 pasta entre dishes came out 20 minutes after 2 people in our party were served their entrees. We waited patiently to eat together, but this was a long wait and the only glitch in the service.

Dessert made up for it, a delicious tiramisu, limoncello cake and a fudgy chocolate cake. I would recommend this restaurant and will eat here again.

The pizza was cool when delivered to the table and the bottom burned! Caesar salad was only fair! We will not go back or recommend the new iteration of what was a consistently good restaurant! Dinner before theater. Enjoyed a delicious dinner, attentive wait staff.

Food was so good! Waitress was amazing! So many appetizers to chose from!! My first time trying this place for lunch. The food and service were very good. I would recommend giving it a try.

Amazing food and even better service! Thanks for a great dinner. LaScala's is one of my favorite go-to pre-theater dining establishments in the city. Have never been disappointed in the number of times that I've gone there.

We are long-time patrons of LaScala before the pandemic. While the look of the space has changed, the quality of the food and service have not. I told her when first arriving and she said she would take care of it. Not a large amount of money As always LaScala was wonderful. We loved the new menu and our server, Sara, made our experience even better.

I highly recommend LaScala. Took a group here for a business dinner and it far superseded our expectations.

The staff was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. Our server Gianna was fantastic and made multiple recommendations throughout our meal. The food quality was top notch and for the price, this is very hard to match. Would recommend this place to anyone in Philadelphia for a great, easy meal.

Will visit again perhaps at a location closer to home. Went early for lunch before a show. Clean, bright atmosphere. Paige was our server, pleasant and attentive. The food was on target for the price in my opinion, was also delicious. The waiter was arrogant and snobbish. The service was bad. Then the food came, after a long waiting. We ordered truffle fries, but we got regular fries with ketchup. They literally have no idea was truffle is.

After that, we got our entrees which were literally inedible. Never go back. Food was delicious and the outdoor seating is really nice when the weather is good. Good food!!!!!!!! Excellent food but very loud with wait staff putting plates on the tables. The food was delicious.

Our server Tiana was very friendly and efficient. The menu selection was just right. Also the price was moderate. We enjoyed our evening with friends. As soon as you walk in the door, you smell the aroma of authentic Italian food.

I had the gnocchi and it was amazing. Came for Restaurant Week. The artichoke and arancini appetizers were killer.

Server was very nice and provided helpful recommendations in addition to running a whole block to make sure that a diner that had just left got their credit card back that they left! Will definitely be back to try happy hour. Let me start by saying that I loved the old LaScala's before the new renovation during Covid. The new atmosphere is extremely bright and white and very noisy. I know it was extra busy as it was the last night of restaurant week. We sat at a high top table next to the bar and we had to talk loud to hear each other.

Now for the positive comments. Our meal was delicious! Started with Aranchini rice balls excellent and fried Calamari overdone, we were hungry and did not complain apps. Me and my husband had a nice experience. Great food. Went for restaurant week and everything was amazing! Had a pm reservation and was on dessert by Everything was fresh and hot!!! The food portions were great..

Waitress was pleasant and kept making sure we were ok.. Overall good value for the price. Food was basically good and tasty. Service was wonderful except they were slammed and our two entrees came out far apart.

We'll most likely go again at some point. Great service and food - reasonably priced. Cool, casual scene. Staff very friendly and attentive. We went to this restaurant during Restaurant Week.

Servings were above average size and delicious. Service was also great. We had a large party and spent a significant amount of money on food and drinks. The food was really good, but none of the wait staff and greeters wore masks. This made my party and I very uncomfortable. We have been in a lot of other restaurants in Philadelphia and all the service staff have worn masks.

If masks are not required of the service staff, guests should be notified ahead of time. This has quickly become our favorite Philly restaurant. Amazing food, awesome service, and very reasonable prices. Atmosphere is fantastic; it's the perfect mixture of modern elegance and vintage charm. You could tell everything we ate besides French fries was previously frozen for a period of time before cooking the food. Drinks were good and service was great but food was mediocre.

The arancini are a MUST!!! Despite knowing this we were sat there anyway, along with dirty plates. I honor their passion, their integrity, and their drive in all I do. On behalf of my team at the LaScala Restaurant Group and I, we thank you for making it possible for us to do what we love.
