I have to agree. Before the real "test" started, my polygrapher told me to deliberately lie to a designated question. He had me draw a number "4" and then tell him I did not draw the number "4". Then he informed me that I was a terrible liar and the machine could read me easily. But if I understand what the polygraph does, this doesn't even make sense. According to the polygrapher the machine detects changes in your body that are a response to fear or stress.
