Who the qualification is for : The Diploma in Professional Marketing is aimed at marketers working in an operational, supervisory or management role who want to develop their marketing knowledge and skills across a range of areas.

Our programme is modular and we currently offer modules on the course starting in January, April and September each year. Each module is taught over a period of 10 weeks, on one evening per week, from 6pm to 9pm. Alternatively, you may want to opt for a stand-alone CIM Award by completing just one module, as each one is recognized and issued with a printed Award Diploma. Our teaching staff comprises both academics and marketing practitioners with extensive business experience.

Delegates will receive a high quality teaching experience with ongoing support throughout their programme with homework tasks, marking and feedback and the opportunity to undertake exam and assessment practice to ensure successful completion of the qualification at Level 6. In order to gain the Certificate in Professional Marketing, you must achieve passes at the appropriate level for all modules. There are some exemptions, which are available for individuals who have passed a relevant subject in an equivalent qualification.

Please note, this must be at the same or a higher level and evidence of sufficient content match will be required. Applications for exemptions are made on an individual basis, with further guidance available on the CIM website. Please contact CIM directly to investigate this option. This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Tutorial workshops Eight virtual interactive tutorials to solve and answer questions arising from the slides and CIM eBook, as well as a revision workshop to ensure that you are fully prepared for the online examination.

Timing of each tutorial: Workshop one: 6pm - 7pm Workshops two to eight: 6pm - 7. Webinar tutorials Four 1hr30mins online webinars to support you throughout the module. These tutorial include revision sessions and one-to-one support.

Dates to be agreed with your tutor at the beginning of your module. This Diploma in Professional Marketing enables you to take a strategic approach to marketing planning, integrating digital strategy, marketing metrics, models, frameworks and techniques that will help your business gain a competitive advantage.

The course teaches new marketing tactics and practices, helping you to stay innovative in an ever-changing market. This course is suitable for marketing and communications managers, functional managers, public relations managers, product or brand managers, account managers, marketing and communications executives and business development managers. The CIM assesses each Level 6 module either by examination or assignment at an organisation of your choice.
